Frank T. O'Toole Jr.
Frank started his career in theater at a young age, flashing some lights for an after school program putting on a skit at New Lebanon School in Greenwich, CT. Then and there he knew that this was what he wanted to do. Frank worked the next few years with the Connecticut Playmakers on youth shows as a lighting tech. After also being involved with a number of school plays, he decided to focus on the backstage aspect of theater. Frank became involved the Greenwich High School Theater Arts program. There he had the opportunity to work on such productions as, “The Cherry Orchard,” “Winter’s Tale,” “As You Like It,” “Three Sisters,” “Night of the Iguana,” “Twelfth Night,” “City of Angels,” “A Mid Summers Night Dream,” “The Importance of being Ernest,” “Anything Goes,” “Fiddler on the Roof,” and “Grease” where he worked as a Light Board Operator, Sound Designer and Technical Coordinator. Frank also worked on several Broadway Musical Reviews that GHS put up. Such productions included, “Working,” “You’re a good Man, Charlie Brown,” “The Wizard of Oz,” and “Bye Bye Birdie” during his time there. In 1998, Frank was inducted into the International Thespian Society, where he was elected Vice-President for the 1999-2000 year. Outside of high school, Frank continued his work in theater hiring himself out to crew small shows around town including two original musicals produced by the Christ Church Girls Choir as well as working as a Sound Engineer for the production of, “The Hot L Baltimore,” at the College of New Rochelle in 2002. In his career Frank is pleased to have the opportunity to work with such performers as Rob Mathes, Lesley Gore, Victor Borge, The Blue Notes, Billy Masters, The Greenwich Symphony Orchestra, Shawn Pelton of The Saturday Night Live Band, Will Lee of the CBS Orchestra featured on the Late Show with Dave Letterman and Greg Allen-Williams of Baywatch. Since opening Show Time Productions, Frank has expanded his work to include event management and wedding planning. Successfully providing needed equipment and furniture for a number of parties and special events and weddings. Outside of Show Time Productions, you can find Frank working weekends as a Zamboni driver at the Dorothy Hamill Skating Rink in Greenwich. Frank is also a Lieutenant with the Cos Cob Fire Police Patrol, inc, in Cos Cob, CT. He had the honor to be a part of a security detail for the President of the United States during his visit to Greenwich in January of 2004 and again in September of 2006. Frank hopes to continue his career as far as it will take him, while expanding his company to do larger shows and events and one day, possibly even film.
